The Georgia Strait is the body of water that separates Vancouver Island
from the British Columbia mainland. It is the passageway for cruise
ships that run from Vancouver BC to Alaska.
The Coast Mountain Range on the BC mainland runs from
North Vancouver in the south to the Yukon and can be seen right across the Georgia Strait.
