Hiking is a popular pastime in the city of Victoria BC.  There are many wonderful hiking trails both in and around the city.

The 5 km David Foster Harbour Pathway that runs along the harbour from the Victoria Cruise Ship Port (Ogden Point) to Bay Street passes by many city landmarks and tourist attractions.

The trail that runs along the Dallas Road Waterfront is a great place to hike.  From the trail, hikers can enjoy wonderful views of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
