Swimming in Victoria

There are several picturesque lakes near the city of Victoria that are suitable for swimming.

Thetis Lake, which is located off the Trans Canada Highway has a lovely beach with clean, fresh water. Elk Lake, located off the Island Highway is another popular spot.

The beachfront at Dallas Road in Victoria Canada is great for soaking up the sun but unfortunately, the water is cold and unsuitable for swimming.
